I have posted some jobs I found on the Internet as well as some that we posted by other members as well. I am hopefull that we can keep building that part of this as we progressively get better connected. Please let all of your employers know that we are here and have a growing membership daily.
I have added a "Q&A Time" tab to the site to add some feedback from you people to be presented in ways to yet be seen but still we can gather…

In this wonderful world of Facebook, My Space and other networking sites I have found someone who shares our vision for a networking site for us scaffold types. Please check out the site at www.SCAFFOLDDAWGS.com. They have some cool merchandise and he seems to be a head of me in that area. I am hoping that we can use the iron sharpens iron philosophy to help each other out. Please check out the site and let me know what you think. Check… Continue

Without sound like a total pompous arrogant jerk there is a certain sense of nobility in what we do. Ours is never the finished product, or the desired end result but there are quite a few major things that would not be the same without dedicated individuals who are willing to do the tough stuff that unless someone took a picture of it most people probably won't remember. Oil refineries and ethanol plants would be different, power would have to be generated by steam from small… Continue

When posting jobs on the "Events-Jobs " tab please watch the start and end dates you put in. They should be the day it is posted and either 90 days from post date or the day the job ends. This will keep the jobs page from getting too muddy.
Also I am about to begin a mass mailing campaign along with some other measures to get some of the employers to notice that this is a good place to post jobs where actual scaffold builders will see them. So please tell everyone you… Continue

Greetings and salutations. Hope everyone in DC and the surrounding states are working inside. Keep warm out there, you too Canadian members.
I have made a few changes like adding "Jobs" to the event tab. Anyone who knows of scaffold work should please post in there for now unless it gets moved later. As you may have noticed I am still working out all of the glitches and bugs in this thing as I tweak it to work out to be as simple as possible. This isn't a corporation yet so… Continue

Hello fellow ScaffoldBuilders I received this message from a new member and thought I would share it in case any of the rest of you are looking, or know someone who is looking for work. I have not had the proper time to devote to the jobs section of the site and will have to rely on other sources for now
"well i learned about this site from trades-usa.com, it is the best jobs board i have found so far, it also has a live chat feature and guys give out phone #'s and web sites to send…

Mr. DeBerg sent me this explanation of shop tools, very difinitive and helpful:
DRILL PRESS:
A tall upright machine useful for suddenly snatching flat
metal bar stock out of your hands so that it smacks you in
the chest and flings your beer across the room, denting the
freshly-painted project which you had carefully set in the
corner where nothing could get to it.
WIRE WHEEL:
Cleans paint off bolts and then throws them somewhere under
the…

If you look on the tabs above you will see one that will take you to the store. The store site is up but I am having some trouble with the icons on it showing up funny. Please let me know if you have any problems navigating through the site so I can get them resolved. Any one who needs tools I have some used ratchets available and more tools to come later. Take a look and buy some shirts so I can afford some improvements around here. Thanks for your time and good…

I am working hard in my time not spent doing billing (yuck) for my day job working on the store. I have 2 format of t-shirts on order and hopefully they will be finished this week-end so I can start shipping on Monday. i was hoping to have them ready by Christmas but no avail. maybe someday serving you fine folks will be my full time job, but until then I'll just have to make some time. I do have a few ratchets to sell and a few ideas about things besides t-shirts that I think you guys may…

AS I am sitting here trying to come with something worth writing about about I must admit I am a little dismayed at the current trend of the larger companies in becoming more diversified and trying to do more things like insulation and other items not scaffold related. I must admit I am from the old school of do one thing and do it well. I'm not sure that I would be a good insulator or an electrician, but I understand I am a pretty fair scaffold builder. I look at the things I am currently…
