Yard Manager Needed for Port Allen Scaffold Yard

Scaffold rental and sales company looking for a Yard Manager for a new scaffold yard being opened in the Baton Rouge/Port Allen Area. This will be a full time salaried position including health benefits. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the below descriptions. • Absolute inventory control

• Data entry for deliveries, returns, purchases and transfers

• Forklift Certified

• Load and unload all trucks

• Pull all orders for customers

• Notify admin and sales of low inventory jobsites

• Customer service support

• Ensure quality control procedures are practiced

• Ensure forklifts/ trucks are maintained and documented

• Coordinate with other branches for transfers

• Maintain and monitor re-rent material reports

• Schedule trucks for customer deliveries.

• Material sourcing and procurement

• Work closely with sales regarding material availability and future needs

• Dispute resolution for customer complaints regarding material

• Coordinate shipping and receiving of all orders

• Ensure all orders are pulled accurately and efficiently

• Responsible for all shipping and receiving paperwork

• QA/QC on all materials

• Supervise all QA/QC procedures are followed

• Schedule all yard employees weekly hours

• Check stock on inventory for order inquiries

• Responsible for safety and cleanliness of the yard

• Schedule and give safety meetings

• Keep up with truck logs are up to date
