Im in local 225 out of Atl.  Im a builder for now. workin on becoming a carpenter, but eally hope to get into Occupational safety, i.e. OSHA oneday.

Hey...thanks for the feed back about your experience w/ other women in this trade.  I know how she felt I guess. I dont think ive ever reacted like that.  But, then again, Ive had the advantage of bein the single ground (wo)man on a lot of jobs, so I HAD to run shit on my own :)  I dont consider myself "rough around the edges", which makes me feel like I stick out even more most of the times.  In my mind, if Im workin as hard as Im capable of, I shouldnt notice if anyone is eyeballing me!  how is it being union up in chicago where the union has power?  Id like to have an exp. like that!  We are weak down here it seems.
